Center Street Station
The project at Center Street has gone through many evolutions, but I think we are finally ready to enter the proper design stages. Above is one of the first drafts of an idea of what to build on this little lot in Rogersville, MO.
This lot used to be the home of Marshall’s E-Z Stop which was lost to a fire quite a few years ago. Marshall’s is a part of some of my core childhood memories, mostly involving Zebras doing extreme sports.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the lot, we knew that we had to jump on it. The tanks were still in the ground and would have to be removed before any construction would begin. This was nearly four years ago now, and ground has yet to be broken. I could blame Covid, but I think it mostly has to do with general exhaustion which is why we are starting this blog: to find inspiration for the Center Street Station and hopefully find some accountability.
